MY HOLY GRAIL BABY TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

UNDER 12 MONTH MUST HAVES!

Flying for the first time with your baby on a long haul flight can be quite daunting! In this blog I will be sharing with you few of my top essentials that I used for Ava! The first time we flew out was when Ava was 4 months and that was to the Mexico!

We travelled on a 9-hour flight! YES 9 hours all the way to Mexico!!

Don’t worry they won’t break your bank account! These items can be easily purchase through Amazon!

ALPINE HEARING PROTECTION ALPINE MUFFY

These where perfect to help protect Ava during take-off and landing! During the flight I kept them on her most of the time especially when she was sleeping.

SNOOZESHADE ORIGINAL

The Snoozeshade was perfect, helped block out all the sun, and protected against UV damage. So, we could be out in the sun and Ava could sleep comfortably. Most importantly the material is super breathable and they kids can see out from it, so they don’t feel scared.

SUN PROTECTION

Even though Ava was never exposed in the sun directly, I still did apply small amounts of sun lotion on exposed skin to keep her protected, make sure to avoid putting any on their hands!! As they were mostly in her mouth.

Insect & Bug Protection . . .

Choosing an insect repellent is super hard! Especially for babies! The main things to avoid is DEET, or chemicals that can be intoxicated and can harm kids.I always keep a bottle of Tea Tree oil, it’s amazing for any rashes, or breakouts that appear or kids and yourself! It’s amazing for spots.
The insect net fits perfectly on prams I even used to attach this on Ava’s cot! As an extra precaution super lightweight and easy to use!

When Ava was a lot more mobile in India and Dubai, whilst on the beach and even in the bedrooms we would lay Ava inside this tent! They are protected from the Sun, as well as mosquitos and surprisingly there is plenty of space for toys and them.

SUN CARE

This pack of child’s farm goodies are honestly super convenient! From tangle teaser to after sun care and moisturiser

WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

Don’t forget to pack! Lots of hats that cover their cute heads and neck! Sunglasses, breathable clothes ideally cotton based clothes and some long sleeve/full length for the evenings especially if you’re in a country that has mosquitos. Swimming essentials, water nappies as not all countries may stock these!

Appropriate swimming costumes beach shoes, as much as little mermaid bikinis look adorable, they are just not practical you don’t want them getting sun damage!
